Chiropody

The chiropodist attends on a regular basis on the 2nd Friday of the month. The service is well used, with 12-15 patients each morning session, and an average of 2-5 of these patients being new to the chiropody service.

Some clients make appointments in advance, while many hear that ‘the foot man’ is in attendance and decide to seek treatment on the day. Many of the chiropody clients are regular attendees, whilst some only attend on a one-off basis.

Advice and treatment is given for a variety of conditions ranging from in-growing toenails, corns, hard skin, skin conditions and general foot care advice. Some clients may be referred on for foot or nail surgery or medical treatment.
