Homeless Health Team

The Homeless Health Team continues to provide a drop-in health clinic at the Friary Drop-In centre on Monday mornings from 10.30 am to 11.30 am. 

The health care drop-in at Friary Drop-In remains a well used service and provides valuable access to health care for individuals who are homeless or vulnerably housed. The Health Team offers dressings, prescribing, help with drug and alcohol related problems, referrals, support with GP registrations and much more.

In June 2009 Conor McLaughlin joined the team as a Nurse Specialist. This was followed in September 2009 by Ruth White also a Nurse Specialist.

The team are happy to be involved with the work of Friary Drop-In and hope to continue to be a part of this holistic service.
