Co-Op 'Divi' - You Can Help Friary Drop-In!

For the last few years Friary Drop-In have benefited from the ‘Partner Card’ scheme whereby anyone using a Co-Op Dividend card has been able to nominate Friary Drop-In to receive their ‘divi’. This has been a great help to Friary Drop-In, who have been able to use the resulting money-off vouchers to buy supplies for those in need.

Changes by the Co-Op

In September 2006, the Co-Op changed the way in which the dividend card scheme works, with only purchases made by Members of The Co-Operative Group can count towards ‘divi’ (in the past, you could use the Dividend card scheme without being a ‘Member’). A new (yellow and white) Membership card has now replaced your existing Co-Op Dividend card, if you have chosen to be a member of the Co-Operative Group. This new card is welcomed at other Co-Op outlets (such as pharmacy, funeral and travel), as well as Co-Op food outlets. The purchases you make will be recorded and converted into a direct share of the profits (equivalent to ‘divi’).

Becoming a Co-Op Member and donating to the Friary

If you do not know whether you are already a Co-Op Member, or if you want to become a Member, you can phone the Co-Op Dividend Helpline on 0845-090-1456, quoting your own existing Co-Op card number.

If you would like the Friary Drop-In to receive your ‘divi’ then you must also tell them you want your profit share to be paid to the Friary Drop-In and quote Friary Drop-In’s Co-Op membership card number:
